What the Hell is C Diff?

The question you’re probably asking your doctor when he’s giving you that diagnosis. And if you’re lucky you’ve only got debilitating abdominal cramps and multiple occurrences of explosive diarrhea. Or if not so lucky you’re in for many months of relapse infections and even worse, death in about 6% of cases, even to the point of quick onset death in fulminant cases. And if you’re over 65, in the hospital with multiple comorbidities, there is a higher expectancy of death within 30 days.

So even if you’ve never heard of C Diff, and most haven’t, you don’t want it..

Introducing C Diff Control

  • What is C Diff Control?
In some 20% of cases of mild C Diff infection, your own immune system will produce antibodies to naturally fight off the infection. C Diff Control is externally sourced similar antibodies that are taken orally over 45 days to repel any possible infection during this most susceptible period.
  • Is C Diff Control safe?
If you’re ok with consuming eggs, C Diff Control is safe.
  • When should I take C Diff Control?
C Diff infection is almost always associated with the taking of broad spectrum Antibiotics and to a lesser extent Protein Pump Inhibitors (PPI). These treatments cause collateral damage to your gut microbiome, making you susceptible to C Diff. So when taking these treatments you can add the daily use of C Diff Control. And because it takes between 1 and 2 months for your gut microbiome to recover, we recommend daily use for 45 days.

C Diff is now the number one hospital acquired infection in the USA, for two reasons: one is the bacteria is prominent in hospitals and second, likely half of hospital patients are taking antibiotics. If you’re going to the hospital for any reason and have recently taken or will be taking an antibiotic, taking C Diff Control for 45 days during that time is recommended.

This sounds like a long time to be taking a daily serving of C Diff Control but it’s way better than getting C Diff infection. Mix 6 grams (1 tablespoon) of powder twice daily, with a glass of milk or water and drink. This is the same as taking one antibody infused, pasteurized and spray dried whole egg a day.

More Information About C Diff Infection

  • C Difficile Infection is now the most common hospital acquired illness in the U. S., with an annual cost of more than $5B to its Healthcare system. It is also classified as an “urgent threat” (the highest category) by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
  • Approximately 50% of CDI cases are now found to originate outside of hospitals, raising concern for the uninformed public with limited knowledge of the disease.
  • C Diff is a gram positive spore forming highly contagious bacteria that causes profuse diarrhea, nausea, cramping, colitis and death in some cases. It infects 500,000 and kills 30,000 North Americans every year. It also has a high probability of reinfecting the same patient multiple times over many months.
  • Almost all cases of C Diff infection occur while you’re taking antibiotics or not long thereafter. This happens because these antibiotics knock out your gut microflora making you susceptible to CDI.
  • We are presently in phase 2 clinical trials of our orally administered antibodies to CURE CDI, with a 94% cure rate after 130 patients. Though not yet approved, from results to date this is the safest and most reliable cure for CDI.
  • We are confident a combination of these same antibodies can be used to avoid getting CDI.
